Everyone ends up here eventually.
Different schools, different majors, people who would never otherwise share a table — all of them, on the same corner of Figueroa, most nights of the week. It is where you go at midnight on your twenty-first birthday, where you end up after the game, and where you come back when you are in town for a weekend fifteen years later.
The bar has been at 2902 S Figueroa since 1947. Nothing about it is trying to be anything else.

Wings, a burger, and a pizza the size of the table.
Rocco’s Wings come eight ways, including the one called 901-911. The 9-0 Burger stacks to a triple, and past that there is The Homer. Pizza runs to eighteen inches. Breakfast burritos until noon.
