Graduation
Every May the caps and cardinal sashes turn up from the afternoon on, three deep at the bar. For a lot of families the photograph taken outside the arch is the one that ends up framed.

Home games
On fall Saturdays the room fills before kickoff and stays full through the fourth quarter — before the game, during it, or after.
Halloween
Costumes in late October, from the elaborate to the clearly last-minute. One of the few nights where the line outside is part of the event.
Thanksgiving week
The week everyone comes back. Alumni home for the holiday, people who graduated four years ago standing next to people who started in September — and at least one shirt that says I miss the 9-0.
What’s on this week
The bar posts the week as it happens rather than a month ahead. Instagram is the fastest place to see it, and the phone is the surest.
